Client Review
Timothy Hanson — West Jordan UT

Freeway Transmissions is pleased to share the following client review from Timothy Hanson of West Jordan. Freeway Transmissions loves getting such feedback as Timothy shared as it assist with our goal of being the very best automotive repair shop in the Salt Lake City area.

I took my 2006 Dodge Dakota to get the transmission fixed, to another supposed well known and trusted shop. @--CO where I had a horrible experience, first they lost my keys, then argued with me that the key they gave me was the key that I had left. Well it was not, in fact the key they gave me only opened up the driver side door and started the truck. Anyway after 4,500 dollars and 30 days in 18 days at the shop they said it was good as new. Yeah right, when I drove it home the fastest I could go was 40mph and the RPM's shot up to near 4,500 and would not shift. I told the other shop about the problem and they wanted to charge me an additional 2,500 dollars to fix it. They also said that it was the transmission "re-learning" how to shift. So needless to say my truck sat for over a year until I called Freeway Transmissions, I spoke with Keith and I tell you what Keith and the rest of the mechanics there really helped me trust mechanic shops again. I told Keith about my experience with mechanic shops and to help me out, they towed my truck for free, diagnosed it for free was able to fix the other shop's F-ups all for under 1,000 dollars. If you have a problem with any of your vehicles I HIGHLY recommend that you take it to these guys. I had to leave my truck there for a few weeks, and they worked with me on storage as well. These guys are truly amazing.
